I was provided a meal at SafeHouse. All opinions are my own.
I have been sharing some of our favorite things that we did in Chicago with our family. We had so much fun. You have to eat when you go on vacation, so you must make a reservation to have dinner at SafeHouse Chicago during your trip.
Look for the red door to access the restaurant. Once you are inside they will brief you to make sure you are not a spy for the other side. If you know the password – they will let you through. If not, they make it fun to let you enter the restaurant.
Once inside you are transformed into what feels like an underground command center. There are so many things to look at and discover. Head to your table and order your food and let the waiter give you your instructions. They did a great job with making everything fun. (My kids especially loved to push the button that said “do not touch”.) There are a lot of tricks and surprises around every corner.

- Chicago White Sox Game – Very cool ballpark for the whole family. You must see a game if they are in town.
- Shakespeare’s Peter Pan at Navy Pier – A really fun experience for the whole family. I dont think there is a bad seat in this theater!

While we were there, we even had a magician perform a few tricks that amazed my kids.
Before we knew it – our food was tour table. We all loved the food. The portions were huge and really delicious. (My kids were super impressed with the color-changing cups.)
Me and my husband couldn’t decide what we wanted so I ordered the Licensed to Kill Mac + Cheese with chicken and my husband ordered the Mission Impossible Burger and we split it. It was so yummy. (Check out the menu.)
We were celebrating my son’s 10th birthday so we had to get dessert. The “F.B.” was over the top! It’s a colossal combination of brownie bites, chocolate cake, and ice cream. Topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a sparkler that defuses before eating.
Think about all the times you go out to dinner with your family. The kids are so impatient while they wait for their food. Not at SafeHouse! While they’re waiting for their food, agents-in-training are welcome to investigate all of SafeHouse Chicago’s secret passageways.
