Sharing is caring!

I love preparing a yummy meal that is both comforting and delicious, that is why I love this recipe for parmesan-crusted pork chops. The combination of parmesan cheese and tender, juicy pork chops is a match made in heaven, perfect for a family dinner or a special occasion. If you love parmesan crusted chicken – you are going to love parmesan crusted pork chops!

Parmesan-crusted pork chops are incredibly versatile and can be paired with a variety of side dishes like simple roasted vegetables, a bright and tangy salad, or comforting mashed potatoes. By the end of the meal, everyone will be asking you for this mouthwatering recipe.

When making parmesan crusted pork chops, I prefer to use boneless pork chops. I always get juicy and tender meat that’s perfect for this dish. It’s essential to check the internal temperature of the pork chops while cooking, ensuring it reaches at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). This guarantees that they’ll be cooked through while still remaining moist and delicious.

Parmesan Cheese

Grated parmesan cheese is a key ingredient in this dish, giving it the tasty crust we all love. Parmesan cheese also has some nutritional benefits, such as being high in protein and calcium.

Tips to prepare Pork Chops With Crispy Parmesan Crust

  • Using a meat thermometer, make sure the internal temperature is 145* degrees for tender pork chops. I like to use an instant-read thermometer.
  • Add additional cooking time if you are using thicker pork chops or bone-in pork chops. If they are thin pork chops they will take less time.
  • I like to use a cast iron skillet when using hot oil. It helps keep the temperature even.
  • To get the best crispy crust, you will dip the pork chops in flour, then the egg mixture and completely coat with parmesan cheese. It’s the perfect crust!
  • My best tip is to have everything ready so you can work quickly once the oil is hot.
  • If you aren’t watching your carbs, you could add about 1/4 cup of panko bread crumbs to the parmesan cheese to give it a little extra crunch.
