Hillshire Farm Naturals Lunchmeat - Make Lunchtime Easier

I love a good sandwich - but I don't like to go somewhere to buy an over-priced sub! It wastes my time and money. So when Im shopping, I love to pick up some cold cuts so we can make sandwiches at home. Sandwiches are also great to pack for your child's lunch or for an after school snack.
Kids can get really bored taking PB&J sandwiches to school. I know my kids prefer a good sandwich with delicious meats, cheese, and veggies. It is also healthier and more filling for them. Anywhere I can sneak in a vegetable, the better!
I do have a problem with some lunchmeats - they can be just gross. Sometimes I wonder how much of it is actually meat! While I was at Walmart I noticed Hillshire Farm Naturals™. It is a new premium line of lunchmeat that contains no artificial ingredients, preservatives or colors and no added nitrites/nitrates except those occurring naturally in celery juice. I love when I can read the ingredients and actually know what I am eating and serving my family!
The line features four varieties including: Slow Roasted Turkey Breast, Hardwood Smoked Turkey Breast, Honey Roasted Ham, and Black Forest Ham. You can find it in the deli section at your favorite Walmart. My store only had the Slow Roasted Turkey Breast and the Honey Roasted Ham. They are delicious. The kids loved them and we are already almost out of the 3 packs that I bought. Hopefully the next time I am at Walmart they will have the other flavors. I can't wait to try them!
The price is awesome too! You pay just $3.48 for ½ a pound. That's less than $7 per pound for a healthier choice in lunch meats. Another bonus - Hillshire Farm Naturals™ products are packaged in double-sealed, re-sealable tubs that lock in freshness and great taste. I love this! I don't have to worry about finding another container to store it in after I open it. Plus it's one less thing to wash!

What's you favorite sandwich combination? I love turkey and cheese with some lettuce, mayo, salt & pepper. Then I like to dip it in red wine vinegar.

Life really is easier with sliced deli meat. I use it as a snack, tore up in omelets, scrambled with eggs, and grilled with cheese.

Turkey is my all time favorite. Hardwood smoked sounds amazing. I can't say I have seen a lot of Hillshire Farm at my grocery store but I now will be on the hunt!

I love to do the same thing. Especially when feeding a crowd (or hungry family of four) it saves so much money and is so quick and easy to do.

I love Hillshire Farm meats for my kids lunches. But I don't think I've seen the Naturals yet. I'll have to look for sure when I run to the store tomorrow.
Looks like an amazing sandwich! My sandwiches at home are never that interesting! Thanks for the tip on the meat. I also find a great deal of lunch meat to just be gross.
My favorite sandwich would start with a great Honey Oat bread. I would use some Honey Ham lunch meat with spinach, cucumbers, green peppers,hot peppers and some shredded cheese. Cant forget the drizzle of Balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
We love the Hillshire Farm turkey breast slices. Great in a sandwich with lettuce and tomato.
Hubby was just saying today that he hasn't had ham sandwiches in a long time. I'll have to check out the Hillshire's. 🙂
We love Hillshire's! It's all we buy. My friend's husband works for Hillshire's in Michigan and they speak very highly of the company.

I have a hard time with some lunch meats, but this meat looks like it is actually real! Not processed mush that some companies pass off as real.
