This summer we were very busy. We actually took a road trip that was 32 hours each way! My husband also had to go to Greece for his job. We had a ton of fun but we missed a few great movies while they were in the theater. We tried so hard to see Guardians Of The Galaxy while it was in the theaters - but it just never worked out. It just seemed like something else was happening and before we knew it summer was over and Guardians Of The Galaxy was no longer in theaters.
My boys were so bummed. They are getting to an age where they really want to see all the Marvel films in the theaters. The good news in - tomorrow December 9 - you will be able to buy Guardians Of The Galaxy on DVD and Blu-ray. I thought I would surprise my boys and get them excited about the release.
While I was at Walmart, I picked up a few things to surprise them with a movie night. I grabbed some pop-corn, candy, and soda so we could feel just like we were at the theater. My boys love Legos, so I also surprised them with a Lego with an invitation for a Guardians Of The Galaxy Family Movie night!
Picking out a toy was so hard! They had so many awesome Guardians Of The Galaxy toys. Speaking of toys - I do have a deal for you! From 12/7 - 12/13, when you buy Groot, Drax or Rocket Raccoon figure for Disney Infinity 2.0, the cashier will be prompted to give you a $5 Walmart gift card instantly.
These figures are are on my boys Christmas list - so you know this week when I go back to Walmart to buy Guardians Of The Galaxy on Blu-ray, I will also be buying Groot, Drax or Rocket Raccoon. This is probably the best deal we will see on those 2.0 figures before Christmas!
By the way....I may be picking up the Guardians Of The Galaxy soundtrack for myself because it is pretty awesome! All these Guardians Of The Galaxy items will make perfect stocking stuffers and Christmas gifts!

Yes I saw it on a plane recently! It was very funny. My oldest daughter saw it in the summer with friends But my DH and my youngest DD did not see it yet. This is good news. Great gift for Christmas!!
