Tips For Making Life Easier And More Efficient While On The Go + Coupon

Summer is here so I think that all our lives are a little bit easier. We dont have to get out kids to school, pack their lunches, pick them up, bring them to a practice, do homework, etc! As parents we have become experts at mutitasking. It’s amazing how many things I can accomplish at once!

Here’s are some other things I do to make my life a little bit easier.

  • Watch the sales! I love convenience food but I dont like the price. I love to watch my local sales and the sale on Amazon for things like Capri Suns or prepackages crackers or cookies. We dont use them all the time because they aren’t always the best for you, but it is really nice to have those things available when we are running late or the kids decide they are hungry or thirsty as we are running out the door.
  • Make double duty meals. Sometimes I make double of a meat so that I can make another easy meal with the leftovers. Here’s some of my favorite things to make with leftovers.
  • I like to make a list of the dinners we will have during the week. I dont like to specify what day we will eat those meals, but I do like to know what meals I can make with the ingredients I have in the house. It helps me be motivated to make dinner if I don’t have to think too hard about what’s for dinner.
  • Batch cooking! I am not a person that makes a bunch of food and freezes it. First of all my freezer isn’t big enough. And secondly, I just don’t think it tastes as good. What I do like to batch cook is waffles and pancakes! It is so nice to just pop them in a toaster or microwave and we have homemade breakfast! It is definitely a lot cheaper to make them than to buy them.
  • When my son was in school, we would get everything ready for his lunch the next morning. We would also lay out his clothes so we were not frantically trying to find a sock! It a very simple thing to do but it really save a lot of time and stress!
  • Crock pot! Who doesn’t love to come home to a house that smells delicious! There are so many great recipes out there for the crockpot!
  • So what else do you do to make your life convenient? I would love to hear your tips. I have a 6,3, and 10 month old, so I can use all the time-saving tips I can get!
