About Gorgonzola Cheese:

This is not a cheese we use often – but it is a cheese that you need to try! According to Castello Cheese, it is often referred to as blue cheese, Gorgonzola is exclusively made from cow’s milk, often boasting milder flavors than those of other blue cheeses.

 

This sour cream chip dip is great with so many things! Here are some of the things we dip in it!

Gorgonzola Cheese Dip (Homemade Chip Dip Recipe)

Ingredients:

• 1- 16 oz container of sour cream (I prefer full fat sour cream but you could also use low-fat sour cream)
• 1-ounce package Ranch seasoning powder packet
• 1 10oz can diced tomatoes and peppers, drained
• 2 bunches of chopped green onions
• ¼ cup bacon bits + a little bit extra for garnish
• 4 ounces Gorgonzola cheese + extra for garnish
• Crackers, Chips, Salty chips, etc for dipping

Instructions For Potato Chip Dip Recipes With Sour Cream:

1. In a large bowl combine the sour cream container, dressing packet, canned tomatoes, green onions, crumbled bacon, and Gorgonzola cheese.
2. Transfer to the serving bowl and garnish with extra bacon and Gorgonzola Cheese.
3. Serve with Crackers, Chips, etc for dipping

Tip – You can add black pepper or sea salt to taste but I think it has plenty of flavor without it! The salt on the chips, crackers, etc makes it salty enough.

• 2 bunches chopped green onions
• ¼ cup Bacon bits + extra for garnish
• 4 ounces Gorgonzola cheese + extra for garnish

1. In a bowl combine the sour cream, dressing packet, canned tomatoes, green onions, bacon bits and Gorgonzola cheese.
