I love fresh baked sourdough breads and pastas. But I don’t have the time to make these things from scratch. If you want to enjoy hot and fresh artisan bread, pasta, and pastries that are delivered to your door – you have to order a box from Wildgrain.

You can enjoy these delicious breads and pastas alone or use them for your next holiday party – like New Year’s Eve! You are going to love it so much you are going to want to enjoy food from Wildgrain all year long!

How it works:

The croissants that come in this box are the best I have ever eaten – and I have had croissants in Paris!

This box is full of foods you can use for a party or a delicious dinner. I used the Sourdough loaf and the croissants to make this fun snack board. This board would also be great for dinner or an after-school snack – it’s so easy to make this.

Some tips to make this steak sandwich snack board:

  • The Wildgrain Sourdough bread is frozen. When it’s done baking, it still needs to rest for about 20 minutes – so during this time you can prepare the steak since it’s super fast.
  • Use your favorite lettuce but I like a Spring Mix.
  • Steak and Provolone is a great combination – but use your favorite cheese
  • The steak cooks fast but it also needs some time to rest.
  • You can also whip up the honey butter while the bread is resting so it’s still soft when you serve it.

Steak and Provolone Sandwich

  • 1 loaf Wildgrain Sourdough bread
  • 1 pound top sirloin
  • Provolone Cheese
  • Mayonaisse
  • Lettuce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon oil
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • toothpicks

Instructions:

Follow the instructions on the bag to bake the loaf of Wildgrain Sourdough bread.  When the bread is done cooking  – you can start making the meat.

Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.

In a cast iron skillet on medium high heat, add 1 Tablespoon oil and 2 Tablespoons butter. Once the butter is melted and sizzling add the steak. I had a 1/4 inch steak and cooked it for 3:30 minutes on both sides.

Remove the meat from the pan and let rest for about 10 minutes.

Slice against the grain into thin pieces.

How to assemble the sandwiches:

Layer the mayonnaise, steak, provolone cheese, and lettuce. Cut the sandwiches in half and secure them with a toothpick.

Honey Butter Recipe + Wildgrain Croissants

All the stuff in the box is so good! And because it's frozen it lasts for a while. I would make that loaf of bread every day :)
